Day Tour of the Giza Pyramids Alabaster Mosque and Hanging Church

What is the trip about

At 8:00 am you will meet your private your professional Egyptologist tour guide in the lobby of your hotel to get on your private, modern a/c van and start your tour with visiting the Giza plateau to explore around the Great Pyramid of Cheops (the only remaining wonder of the seven wonders of the ancient world) and the pyramids of his own successors (Chephren and Mycerinus) then go to the panorama area in the desert to have a view of the three pyramid together and take unforgettable pictures with your guide’s help, move down the plateau to visit the Valley Temple of King Chephren and wonder at the Great Sphinx. After that you will have lunch in a local restaurant and then you will move to the area of Coptic Old Cairo to see the remains of the Roman Fortress of Babylon and the Hanging Church of Virgin Mary (one of the oldest churches of the world). After that you will visit the Citadel of Saladin with its Middle Ages style and go inside the Alabaster Mosque of Mohamed Aly Pasha that represents the Ottoman style of architecture and dominates Cairo skyline with its high minarets and domes. At the end of the tour you will be transferred back to your hotel.
